first_img Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (ARSENAL v Everton) – Click the right arrow above to see who else could make their debut this weekend… – The £55m signing from Borussia Dortmund would have been an almost certain starter against Everton but a stomach bug has put his place in the first XI in doubt. He should make the bench at least, so a cameo is a realistic expectation. 9 Olivier Giroud (Watford v CHELSEA) – Having only started one Premier League game so far this season with former club Arsenal, Giroud could be thrust into the Blues’ XI against Watford on Monday with Alvaro Morata struggling with a back injury. 9 Eliaquim Mangala (Arsenal v EVERTON) – Sam Allardyce is very much the centre-back whisperer. If anyone can get a tune from the French defender, it could well be Big Sam. Some think it may be too early for a bow against Arsenal but bearing in mind Phil Jagielka started against Leicester City, Mangala could get an early nod. 9 Jordan Hugill (Brighton v WEST HAM) – Having been the subject of Hammers fans’ ire on transfer deadline day, Most supporters will get their first sight of the forward away at Brighton. Given their injury issues he may be in from the start but it’s likely it will only be from the bench. Badou Ndiaye (Bournemouth v STOKE) – The ex-Galatasaray man has been brought in to add energy to a dire Potters midfield so it would make sense if he was thrown in as soon as possible. Manager Paul Lambert believes he will bring the drive and devilment currently missing at the club. Andre Ayew (Leicester v SWANSEA) – The Ghanaian forward returns to the Jacks for £18m and will immediately bolster their forward line. He’s fit so should at least make an appearance from the bench. Lucas Moura (Liverpool v TOTTENHAM) – It’s unlikely the Brazil star will start against Liverpool given Mauricio Pochettino’s pre-match comments but there is an outside chance he will make the bench. 9 Now the madness of the January transfer window is over, we can get back to talking about on the pitch action. After late deals were done across the Premier League, we are now anticipating a number debuts over the weekend. But which players are likely to start in their new kits, and which are set to warm the bench and possibly make a cameo?Click the right arrow above to find out which January transfers could make their debuts this weekend. 9 9 Emerson Palmieri (Watford v CHELSEA) – It’s likely Marcos Alonso will start for the Blues against Watford but given the amount the Spaniard has played this campaign it’s quite likely Palmieri will make an appearance from the bench. 9 9 Alexander Sorloth (CRYSTAL PALACE v Newcastle) – On transfer deadline day, the Eagles landed the giant Norwegian striker Sorloth in £9m deal. He may not start for the time being but he should get a few minutes from the bench against Newcastle. 9last_img
